2025 Subsequent Call for Abstracts
The Subsequent call will be opening mid-September. Proposals submitted during this call are for case studies and scholarly works. It is designed for professionals in training (scholars) or those in the early stages of their careers in hospice and palliative care, providing them with a platform to showcase their peer-reviewed research at a nationally recognized conference, as well as the opportunity for publication in the Journal of Pain and Symptom Management. PCHETA Reintroduced in U.S. Senate
The Palliative Care and Hospice Education and Training Act (PCHETA) has been reintroduced in the U.S. Senate as S. 2243. AAHPM helped develop this bipartisan legislation to grow the hospice and palliative care workforce, improve awareness, and expand research.
